Real Estate - Residential and Commercial

Our goal is to provide clients with a smooth real estate transaction from start to close.

The purchase, sale, development, use or refinance of real estate is a complex and stressful process. We are here to help you through this process, whether you are the buyer or seller of residential or commercial property.

Representation begins from prior to, or receipt of the offer, through the contract stage, to closing, to well after closing. We assure our clients will understand the process and procedures throughout each stage.

We are a full-service real estate firm, dealing with residential and commercial closings, simple and complex refinances, land development, contracts, all leases, land use and local governmental regulatory matters, title services, and much more.

Estate Planning

Every family situation is unique. Midwest Law Group provides advice and guidance to clients to help them set up an effective plan for the care of their children and distribution of their assets upon their incapacitation or death. We provide our clients guidance on the different methods to ensure that their goals can be accomplished. The foundation of any estate plan is the creation of the necessary documents, which include wills, trusts, powers of attorney and health care directives.

The amount of wealth an individual has is not always the correlation to their need for an adequate estate plan. Whether a person has significant assets or is just beginning to build wealth, we can help them set up a plan for the distribution of property and the care of minor children in the event of their death. There are many estate planning options to help our clients meet their goals.

A proper estate plan considers not only a client's current asset portfolio, but also their short and long-term goals. Once such goals are identified we work with our clients to determine the approach that best fits their needs and draft all the documents necessary to establish and implement the plan. These documents may include the following:

  • Wills

  • Trusts (revocable or irrevocable, living or testamentary, and special needs

  • Transfer on Death Instruments (TODI)

  • Powers of Attorney for Property
  • Powers of Attorney for Health Care

More than just preparing documents, we provide legal advice and to help you navigate and understand the documents as they relate to your entire estate plan.
